In Sync: a this-or-that game for couples and friends, scored together
In Sync is a new two-player this-or-that game. You both pick at once, and every round you land on the same side adds to one shared score. Nobody wins, nobody loses.
There's a new game in the arcade, and it's the first one where nobody wins.
In Sync is a this-or-that game for two. Each round shows you two options, like beach holiday or city break, or a night in or a night out. You both pick at the same time. Your pick stays hidden until the other person has locked in, and every round where you land on the same side adds a point to one shared score.
Why a game with no winner
Most of the arcade is head to head. That's great when you want to settle something over Connect 4, but it's not always the mood at the end of a long call. In Sync puts you on the same team. The score at the end is just how often you matched, and the rounds you didn't match are usually the ones worth talking about.
How a game goes
- Start a room and pick a prompt set: Couples or Friends.
- Choose 10 or 20 rounds, then send the link.
- Tap a side each round. When you've both picked, the answers flip over together.
There are thirty Couples prompts about dates, visits, calls and the future, and thirty Friends prompts that stay light (tea or coffee, window or aisle). Ten rounds take a couple of minutes, which makes it a good warm-up at the start of a video call.
If you liked How Well Do You Know Me
In Sync is the quicker, lighter cousin of How Well Do You Know Me. One asks you to guess the other person's answer. The other just asks whether you'd pick the same thing. Play one, then the other.
There's no solo mode, because the whole point is the other person.
